SIH Book Week 2018 and Celebration Assembly

This year's SIH Book Week theme was Weird and Wonderful. During the   week, we had a door-front weirdly and wonderful competition, an inter-house   spelling bee, 11 days read-athon where time spent reading was recorded and   house points were earned by the students, also we had older students reading to   younger students which were the most gratifying sight to see students become   teachers and to see students realise they have skills with which they can bless     others. Drop everything and read when the drum sounded to summon all to a   blissful reading. Dressed as your favourite book character was the highlight of   the week. Students of the month and house points certificates were also awarded during the Friday celebration.

Bring Your Grandparents to School Day 2018

It was a very special day at SIH yesterday as we allowed our students to   bring their grandparents to school. On Friday, 23rd February grandparents came   to school for "Bring your Grandparent to School” day. After registration and a   welcome meeting in the library, the grandparents joined their grandchildren in     their normal timetabled classes and were able to participate in classroom   activities. The programme also involved a tour around the school with the help of   our student government and an interview by our year 7 students, asking about   their old school days. They were able to join the students for snack and lunch break, too. We hope that you enjoy sharing stories about your personal school life as we enjoy having you with us on this day. Thank you dear grandparents and we hope to see you all again next time!  top   top
